How to set-up your device for NAPLAN testing

Accessibility Settings
Turn off Assistive Touch
1. Go to Settings, then open Accessibility > Touch.
2. Go to AssistiveTouch and ensure Assistive Touch is off (default is in off position).
Spellcheck and predictive text
1. Go to Settings, then Accessibility.
2. Select Switch Control and turn off Switch Control.
Voice Control Turned off
1. Go to Settings, then click Accessibility.
2. Select Voice Control and ensure it is OFF .
Keyboard Settings
Turn off the Auto-corrective settings.
1. Go to Settings, then click General > Keyboard.
2. Ensure Auto-capitalisation, Auto-Correction, Check Spelling is OFF
Turn off the Emoji keyboard
1. Go to Settings, then click General. Then go to Keyboard > Keyboards.
2. Select Edit, then select the remove icon next to the Emoji keyboard.
3. Select Delete, then select Done.
Other Settings
Turn off auto-Lock
1. Go to Settings, then Display & Brightness.
2. Change Auto-lock to Never.
Adjust Sound levels
1. Go to Settings, then Sounds
2. Adjust volume settings before opening the Nap Lock Down Browser.
