Autodesk Fusion 360 - Data Panel Showing Up Blank
Autodesk Fusion 360 is currently experiencing an issue where our newer Macs with the Apple M1, M2, and M3 chips are no longer showing the Data Panel within the program. We have now pushed application called "Autodesk Fusion 360 - Apple Silicon" onto all of the Mac Mini's in our labs. When you launch Fusion 360 using this application, it will force the main Fusion 360 application to open using Rosetta (a program that fixes the functionality of Fusion 360) and allow the Data Panel to be accessible once again.
Manually Setting Autodesk Fusion 360 To Run Using Rosetta
Alternatively, if you are not using one of the Mac Mini's in our Labs or wish to manually set Autodesk Fusion 360 to run using Rosetta, you can set Fusion 360 to open using Rosetta by following the below steps. Please note that you will need to manually complete this step on each new device that you login to.
1. On the Mac, open finder and go to "Applications", right-click on "Autodesk Fusion 360" and select "Get Info":
2. In the menu that comes up, tick the option "Open using Rosetta":
3. Open Autodesk Fusion 360, please note that this may take a while to run the first time. You should now be able to see that Data Panel:
