Setting Up Ring Central
Signing in to the RingCentral for Teams Embedded App 1. Open the Microsoft Teams Application 2. Click on the RingCentral Application in the Navigation Panel 3. Click on the Sign in button 4. The Sign in window will appear 5. Type in your Email address 6. Click the Next button 7. Enter your Password 8. Click the Sign in button Pin the Application To pin the RingCentral Application to your Microsoft Teams Task bar: 1. Open the RingCentral application within the Microsoft Teams application 2. When it appears in the task bar, right click on the icon in the task bar and select the Pin option

Calling in Ring Central through Phone Numbers.
Calling Using the Keypad 1. Within the RingCentral Application, under the Phone panel, select the Keypad tab 2. You have the option to: a. Enter the number using your keyboard. Click into the Enter name or number field, then use your Num Lock keypad to enter the number to dial. b. Use the dial pad to click on each number 3. Click on the Dial: (number) to call. 4. The following pop-up call window will appear. Calling in Ring Central through Contacts
Internal Contacts 1. Within the RingCentral Application, under the Phone panel, select the Keypad tab 2. Click into the Enter name or number field, then enter in the Name, extension number or email address 3. Click on the contact 4. The pop-up call window will appear External Contacts For external contacts you will be unable to use the extension number or email address - only enter the full phone number or the name of the contact. Voicemail in Ring Central
Listening to Messages To listen to a voicemail: 1. Within the RingCentral Application, under the Phone panel 2. Select the Voicemail tab 3. Select the Voicemail message 4. Click on the Play button to listen to the message 5. To access other voicemail options, hover over the entry, then select the ellipses (3 dots) a. Add contact b. Mark as read c. Download d. Copy number e. Delete f. Block number Change Voicemail Greeting To change a voicemail greeting: 1. Within the RingCentral Application, under the Phone panel 2. Select the Voicemail tab 3. Click on the Settings gear icon 4. Select the Voicemail settings option 5. Select Voicemail greeting 6. To change to a custom greeting click on the dropdown arrow beside default and select Custom 7. A window will appear to “Allow RingCentral to access your device?” This gives permission to access your camera, microphone or speakers while you’re using the app. Press Allow 8. You now have the below options: a. Computers Microphone to record your custom greeting (up to 5 minutes), press on the red recording button b. Phone – RingCentral will call you on the number you provide to record your customer greeting over the phone. To do this, enter your number, and press the Call now button c. Importing – Upload a greeting you have recorded in a .WAV or .MP3 file. To do this, drag and drop the file into the box provided
