How do I access Music Lessons on Teams as a tutor?
This article will guide tutor on accessing their music tutoring lesson using Teams for Remote Learning. Downloading the App for your device: Download Microsoft teams from: https://teams.microsoft.com/downloads Proceed to install Microsoft Teams. Login with you CEWA credential when prompted. Using Teams: Once the Teams App has installed, Open Teams. Click on Teams on the left bar. Click on Music Lesson Teams. Click on the channel with your name, in this case we are using Aishah Chadwick. When it's time to start the lesson, Click on the Meet Now to begin the lesson. Then click on Meet Now. When you have to end the session click on the hang up icon. Meeting Roles and Safety on Teams
Tips and settings to make remote learning safer. Use this list of best practices to add security to virtual class meetings. Schedule your meeting in a channel. Create a virtual lobby for students. Assign the meeting roles (i.e Presenter v Attendee). Always end the meeting for your entire class. Make sure you and your students are using the latest version of Teams Assign meeting roles and choose additional safety settings before class. Go to the Calendar. Select your meeting and choose Edit. Note: You can edit all meetings in a series or just one meeting. Make the following choices: Who can bypass the lobby? Choose Only me. This creates a virtual lobby where students wait for you to admit them. Always let callers bypass the lobby. Choose No so students joining from a mobile device also wait in the virtual lobby. Announce when callers join or leave. Choose Yes to get a notification when students join and leave class on any device. Who can present? Choose Only me. Note: Presenters have capabilities that attendees do not have. Allow attendees to unmute. Choose No. Note: You can change this setting and manage student microphones during class. Click Save. Tip: Check these settings before each class. If you need to adjust them during your meeting, choose More actions > Meeting options. Don't forget to save your changes. When class is over, always close the meeting space so students can't continue without you. Click the arrow on the Leave button. Select End meeting. Choose End. Still Haven't Found Your Answer? How to Remove Email Signatures in Outlook
This article contains instructions for deleting an email signature in Outlook via the iOS App, Mac App and the Web App. Change the Email Signature in the Outlook iOS App To change your email signature in the Outlook app and make a different signature for each of your email accounts: 1. Open the Outlook app, then tap your profile icon in the upper-left corner. In older iOS versions, tap the three-line menu. 2. Tap Settings (the gear icon). 3. Scroll to the Mail section. 4. Tap Signature. 5. In the Signature screen, erase the signature. Change the Email Signature in Outlook for MacBook 1. On the Outlook menu, click Preferences. 2. Under Email, click Signatures. 3. Under Signature name, click the signature you want to change. 4. Under Signature in the right pane, remove the signature that you previously had. Change the Email Signature in the Outlook Web App (OWA) To change your email signature in the Outlook app and make a different signature for each of your email accounts: 1. Click Settings (the gear icon). 2. Click on 'View all Outlook Settings'. 3. Go to 'Compose and reply'. 4. Under Email signatures, 'Delete' any email signatures that exist. To ensure that your Microsoft Teams calls run as smoothly as possible, please ensure that these settings have been enabled: Camera access Microphone access Screen Recording access This article will provide instructions for enabling the above settings. How to Configure Settings 1. Open System Preferences and load 'Security & Privacy Settings'. 2. Load the Privacy settings. 3. Click the Lock and type in your laptop password. 4. Open Camera settings and ensure Microsoft Teams has been ticked. 5. Open Microphone settings and ensure Microsoft Teams has been ticked. 6. Change your background before a meeting starts on Mac While you're setting up your video and audio before joining a meeting, select Background filters . It's just below the video image.Your background options will display on the right. Select Blur to blur your background. You'll appear nice and clear while everything behind you is subtly concealed. You can also replace your background with one of the images provided, or with one of your own choosing. To use an image of your own, select Add new and then select one to upload from your computer. Make sure it's a .JPG, .PNG, or .BMP file. Your new background will persist in all your meetings and calls until you change it again. To turn off background effects, select . Note: If you don't see this option in the menu, the feature might not be available on your device yet.
